RLC takes seriously its responsibilities in relation to safeguarding. We go far beyond the requirements of a commercial organisation; in vetting members of our team, we follow the same stringent guidance that would be expected if employed in a school context.


We thoroughly check the following:

  • Identity

  • Address

  • Date of Birth

  • Photo Identity

  • Qualifications

  • Health

  • Enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) disclosure

  • Right to Work in the UK


All members of the RLC  carry a form of identity, which can be checked at any time whether they are  working in a school or not .


Our company ID badges include reference to the DBS number.
